RAM modules removal

Both memory (RAM) modules are located under the black mylar sheet. According to Crucial website HP Spectre x360 15-ch can handle 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2400 SODIMM modules. I looked at other sources and I think upgrading it to 32GB (2x16GB) shouldn't be a problem.

Both memory (RAM) modules are located under the black mylar cover.

STEP 6.
There is a metal RAM cover under the mylar sheet which is attached to the sheet with adhesive. Carefully pull the mylar sheet up to separate the metal cover from the clamps (yellow ovals) on the motherboard.
